Chitwan National Park - Overall view

Chitwan National Park is one of the most exciting and beautiful place of Nepal which is included in the list of World heritage site in Nineteen eighty four. This place is known as the first National park of Nepal. This place is constructed (developed) in 1973 and previously recognized by Royal Chitwan National park. Chitwan national park after earthquake in 2015, no any remarkable affection have been made in this place and this place is one of the very safe tourism place of Nepal for many reasons. This place is located in the central western subtropical part of the Nepal and covers the areas of 932 sq.km in the Terrain. This article is only 4/5 hour away from Kathmandu by bus and 25/35 minute away from by Airplane. This area is mostly covered by large jungles and grasslands about 2,600 km² and many different types of birds, reptiles, mammals and water animal can be seen in this area. The most endangered animal like one horned rhinoceros, bangal tigers and different species of elephant are safely staying in these area for long time. Moreover that other animals crocodile, grey lungur, wild cat, deer, python, monkey, leopards and 57 species of birds can be found in this park.

Many external and internal tourists coming here to see different types of animals and birds which are founded in these area and more over they want to take experience of  different activities like Jungle safari, Jeep drive, Elephant safari, Jungle walk, village walk, elephant bathing, visit elephant breed centers, crocodile breed centers, Swimming and cultural dance program of Tharu.

Chitwan national park entry fee

The entrance fee of this national park is categorized differently for internal and external tourists. According to the new law of government the entrée fee for local people is Nrs 100 ($1). Likewise for the tourist who belong to SAARC is Nrs 500 ($5) and for other foreign tourist is only Nrs 1500($15).

Its altitude is goes from about 100 m (330 ft.) in the river valleys to 815 m (2,674 ft) in the Churia Hills. This place is located western central terrain part of Nepal. Total area is extended to 4 districts of Nepal they are Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Parsa and Makwanpur.

Chitwan national park best time to visit is October to March in this period the weather stay calm and cool. The visibility is very high, almost sky and atmosphere remain clean and superb. In this time the daily temperature is around average of 25°C.
